How does one fully describe 4 days in California in a brief blog entry? well, i guess i'll just tell about the highlights. So, for spring break i went on a band trip to california for the "heritage music festival," and we got 3rd place...blah,blah,blah...i played piano for the jazz band...yadda yadda...OK! so for the other 3 1/2 days, we went to six flags and disneyland. it was a blast, i only wish the lines weren't so flipping long. (average 45 min wait per ride) it would be tight if orson and i could go during the fall when you only have to wait 5 or 10 minutes per ride and celebrate his graduation! my favorite rides were:

colossus - intermediate wooden rollercoaster, but it was my first that i can fully remember (besides the one at lagoon that orson made me go on...i cried from the sheer terror) anyway, i screamed my head off at the initial straight-down drop, but later on in my disney experience i got used to it, now i love rollercoasters!

california screamin - steel rollercoaster, goes DANG fast and has a launch start. loopty loops and drops and tunnels, it was great!

tower of terror - haunted hotel ride, based on twilite zone, had a cool storyline intro (deep spooky voice, the words "goodbye" before the first DROP, and this weird thing where it took pictures of us and had our floating heads on the elevator) anyway, my stomach ended up in my chest after a couple drops on the elevator, but it was soo cool!

anyway, there was SO much more to do, but time was limited and the lines didn't help. the weather was nice, not boiling hot, i actually had to wear a light jacket after 5 pm. i was the unfortunate soul caught going backwards on the river rapids drop every time! love to talk more, but there is that possibility that you guys have lives outside of reading our blog so that's all for now!
