Summer Lovin', Had Me a Blast

So, i accidentally closed the tab with this whole new post written out and perfected, so after a pitiful cry of anguish, i shall begin again. The weather: finally sane...it was chilly and drizzly right up until the last day of school after which it cranked up to 85 degrees. It has been holding up fairly well. To show my appreciation for this wonderful upgrade, i've been outside partying friday (water fight, volleyball, pool, bad minton) and the dance preview yesterday (swing dancing etc. for about 6 hours out on the football field).
Ah yes, the dance festival preview...the excruciating part was that aside from wearing the required long blue jeans and snug red shirt, we were instructed to wear spandex and a cami underneath so that we could change outside into our costume. Then, as fate would have it, the costumes weren't ready, those of us obedient to these dress standards were repaid with the most uncomfortable, muggy experience possible. It was still fun though, now that i'm comfortable with the dances, they're a lot more fun. (whew! i almost wrote "funner")
anyway, i'm super excited for school volleyball starting tomorrow! (technically open gym, but its really a practice) I'm also looking forward to getting back into some sort of shape. no one told me that one needed to be in shape to hang out with their RM brother. Richard nearly jogged me into a coma. Illihee was fun and "the trail" was grueling, a bit slick, but the hike up all those stairs from the beach to the Frei's house sure made my legs burn. Well, better practice those songs for stake choir. The patriotic concert is next sunday and i just got 3 of the songs last week!
p.s. I'm pretty much for sure a psychic. The wife of the new move-in couple to our ward was called into YW's...i totally called it. And, today in sacrement meeting the stake president decided to play "spontaneous testimonies" and called a couple adults to bear their testimony on the spot. I was just unsurprised I'd be to be called up when Prez. Anderson summoned me to the stand so actually, I was completely surprised.

edit: i was just thinking about how it wouldn't be so unthinkable for him to call on me, but then when he did i was completely surprised. guess i shoulda read it through before i posted it.

haha. are you implying that this slugishly lethargic RM brother didn't equally challenge you athletically like Elder Wart does? mmwahaha, i gave you drastically phony expectations. i get tired just thinking about getting jogged into a coma. i could probably bench press you both though.

Penny when are you going to come to Utah? I'm surprised you were surprised to be called on to bear your testimony of course you'd be called on, you are a prime target.

orson- now, now, i never said you didn't challenge me...just because i smoked you at tetherball doesn't mean you can't out-benchpress me
buetlers- yep, i can't get used to wearing shorts and t-shirts without freezing to death
egans- oh, maybe i should clarify, suprised means "panicked." remember when i sang in sacrement and was so shy i practically whispered? heh heh, those were the days....
